Contrafence is a fencing contracting company based in the Black isle covering the Inverness and highlands area. The company was started in 2015 by its owner and operator Craig McIntosh. Over the years the business has built up a very strong reputation. We are committed to building strong long lasting relations with our customers and suppliers. Generally working in a team of three however this can vary on workload and time of year.
Health and Safety: We put the health and safety of the public and our workforce at the top of our priorities. We continually update and upgrade our certificates. Members of our workforce are CSCS, ROLO and Emergency First Aid At Work certified.

STOCK FENCING
Stock fencing has been a large part of our business from the beginning and we pride ourselves in offering the very best service to suit each customer individually. We offer the most durable materials on the market. We regularly use James jones sawmill which offer a 15 year guarantee on their timber products. We also install fences using the 25 year guaranteed Octopost on customer request. The wire used is high tensile Tornado.
TIMBER FENCING
Timber fencing is one of our specialties. We can install various styles of timber fencing to suit the customers needs. Whether it is privacy, security or aesthetics we have a solution for any fencing problems. We use superior kiln dried pressure treated timber that complies with the British standard.
SECURITY FENCING
We can offer various fencing solutions to keep your property or business premisses safe. From chainlink to palisade we can find the product most suitable for your needs.

A Few Highlights
5KM AGRICULTURAL FENCING CONTRACT.
This was a local contract at the beginning of this year. The aim of the contract was to rearrange and compartmentalise the fields in such a way that the cattle would have fresh feeding to move onto regularly. The fencing consisted of Octopost strainers, first class 3x3 posts and high tensile, heavy gauge Tornado wire along with Titan barbed wire.

780 METERS OF 6FT TIMBER FENCING.
This contract consisted of timber fencing to enclose a conifer woodland. Despite the challenging ground conditions the wildlife and picturesque views made this site a joy to work on. The fence is to keep prey out and keep the animals in.
